Assessing the budgetary parameters and some of the challenges upfront ensures the development of a plan that helps reduce unforeseen costs that can also cause schedule delays. Preconstruction planning will lead to a more definitive and manageable schedule. It will also serve to reduce the occurence of changed conditions that result in additional and unexpected costs.

As the Design Builder, Axiom eliminates the need to have a direct relationship with both the architect and engineer. Axiom would be the single authority and would own and manage the design process. This process will eliminate the tension that can exist between the designer and contractor when cost overruns occur. Axiom will perform as designer and general contractor under this framework.
Axiom can perform as a General Contractor as a result
of a competitive bid or a negotiated process. We are associated with several subcontractors who have great reputations for delivering quality work on time and under budget. Our ability to lead our subcontractors and to communicate one plan is our strength. As General Contractors, we would engage a project manager skilled specifically in your project type. We would employ daily field leadership that understands schedule management.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (AGENCY/AT-RISK)
As the Construction Manager, we are privileged to work in concert with you as your representative. Our responsibility in this role is to manage the trades and vendors as we partner with you to determine who will provide the best and most cost-efficient value to you.
As Construction Manager, our services can be contracted in two ways:
Agency: In this framework, we essentially act as your agent to make recommendations for the contract award while ensuring conformance to the contract throughout the project. Axiom will work hard to minimize the risk and exposure to you. We would perform this service at a negotiated fee.
At-Risk: As Construction Manager At-Risk, Axiom would ultimately help to establish a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). We would then
proceed as the General Contractor while assuming all the financial risks moving forward.
